Shelby Dedo is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.
She advises clients on a variety of class, derivative, shareholder, and individual litigation matters involving securities fraud, corporate claims, and other related issues.
Shelby maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented families enforcing federal education rights. She is also a member of the firm’s Recruiting Committee.
Prior to joining Latham, Shelby clerked for Judge Charles R. Wilson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
While in law school, Shelby served as a managing editor on the Notre Dame Law Review, team captain on the Moot Court Board, and representative on the Honor Council. Between undergrad and law school, she worked in litigation support for an international law firm.
