Shannon Mukerji is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the White Collar Defense & Investigations and Healthcare Regulatory practices.
Shannon advises clients on government and corporate investigations, healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, and commercial litigation matters. She helps healthcare and life sciences companies navigate a wide range of high-stakes matters, including:
- Fraud and abuse matters, including compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act
- Government enforcement matters and investigations
- Internal investigations
- Compliance program review and development
- Compliance with Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIAs)
- Regulatory counseling on complex transactions

Shannon maintains an active pro bono practice with a focus on criminal defense and immigration cases. She has served on the Boston Bar Association White Collar Steering Group Committee. Her recent thought leadership on industry developments include:

Prior to joining Latham, Shannon graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in economics and psychology. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she received faculty awards for excellence in Evidence, Securities Regulation, and Legal Writing. While in law school, Shannon was a member of the Seventh Circuit Moot Court Board and argued on behalf of a pro bono client in their habeas corpus appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She also served as an editor for the Journal of International & Comparative Law.
