Sara Sampoli is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Sara represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters, with a focus on media, technology, and copyright issues.

Before joining Latham, Sara served as a law clerk to Judge John A. Kronstadt of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and Judge Susan L. Carney of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Prior to law school, Sara worked as an associate product manager at an e-commerce company.

Sara graduated from Yale Law School, where she served as an executive editor for the Yale Journal of Law & Technology and spent two and a half years in the Media Freedom and Information Access Clinic litigating First Amendment and Freedom of Information Act issues on behalf of journalists and documentarians. Sara was awarded the C. LaRue Munson Prize for her clinic work. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale College in 2014.
