Samuel Chau is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the M&A and Private Equity Practice.
Sam advises on private equity, M&A, and joint-venture transactions. He acts for sponsors and corporates on acquisitions, exits, and majority and minority investments. His experience spans infrastructure, energy, real estate, technology, and healthcare assets.
Sam was seconded to StepStone Group’s Real Estate Private Equity fund and DWS Group’s Infrastructure Private Equity fund, where he looked after the funds’ investments and exits of assets.
Before joining Latham, Sam was an associate in the Hong Kong office of a global law firm and spent time on secondment in Washington, D.C.
