Samantha McGonigle advises private equity sponsors on transactions across the investment life cycle, with a particular focus on the technology and software sectors.

Samantha leverages more than two decades of experience to guide clients on:

  • Large-cap and mid-market leveraged buyouts and take-private transactions
  • Divestitures and disposals
  • Recapitalizations and financial restructurings
  • Growth equity and minority investments
  • Fund-to-fund transactions

Samantha counsels sponsor clients through governance, risk, and portfolio company matters, including board composition, leadership transitions, and crisis and liability management. She also regularly advises clients on the legal, tax, and compliance considerations that arise from due diligence through exit.
