Samantha Blemker is a Litigation and Trial associate in the Orange County office of Latham & Watkins, where she represents public and private companies in securities and complex commercial litigation.
Before joining Latham & Watkins, Samantha served as a judicial clerk for Senior Judge John A. Mendez at the US District Court, Eastern District of California. Prior to that, Samantha clerked for Judge Ronald H. Sargis at the US Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of California.
Samantha earned her JD from UC Davis School of Law. During her time at UC Davis, she was a board member of the Trial Practice Honors Board and the Environmental Law Society, an editor for Environs: UC Davis Environmental Law Journal, and actively participated in the Aoki Water Justice Clinic and Moot Court. While in law school, Samantha also gained experience working part-time at two boutique litigation firms.
