Samantha Wheeler is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Samantha represents private equity funds, private equity portfolio companies, and other public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and other corporate matters.
She primarily advises clients on domestic and cross-border transactional matters, including acquisitions and divestures, controlling and minority investments, internal reorganizations, and other strategic transactions across a variety of industries.
Prior to joining Latham, Samantha was a private equity associate at another international law firm.
She maintains an active pro bono practice, including assisting with adoptions and asylum matters. Additionally, Samantha works with Legal Counsel for the Elderly to draft powers of attorney and wills for low-income seniors.
Samantha attended Washington University School of Law, where she served on the board of the Washington University Law Review as well as on the Dean’s Student Advisory Committee.
