Sakina Haji is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Supreme Court & Appellate Practice.
Sakina represents clients in high-stakes appeals in federal and state appellate courts around the country. She also regularly participates in district court litigation raising complex questions of federal law.
Before joining Latham, Sakina served as a law clerk to Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. of the Supreme Court of the United States, and to Judge Kevin C. Newsom of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Sakina received her JD with high honors from The University of Chicago Law School, where she was articles editor for The University of Chicago Law Review and received the Joseph Henry Beale Prize for outstanding legal research and writing.
