Ryan McGrath is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Practice.
Ryan represents international companies, public and private companies, and private equity funds before the UK CMA, the European Commission (EC), and other national competition authorities. His practice spans a mix of:
- Merger control
- Foreign direct investment (FDI)
- Foreign subsidies
- Behavioral antitrust, including abuse of dominance and cartel investigations
He advises clients on a variety of transactions within TMT, energy, mining and infrastructure, and life sciences.
Prior to joining Latham, Ryan worked as an associate at a leading international firm in London and Brussels.
Before private practice, Ryan worked in the mergers team at the UK Competition and Markets Authority, acting on merger investigations in international airlines, retail road fuel, online gambling, logistics, online travel agencies, and CRM software.
