Ross Liemer is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Ross represents public and private companies and private equity firms on mergers, acquisitions, sales, carve-outs, equity financings, joint ventures, and corporate governance.

He has particular experience in cross-border transactions, structuring arrangements with co-investors, and transactions involving closely held companies.

He advises clients in the energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and technology sectors.

Prior to joining Latham, Ross worked in the New York office of another leading international law firm.

  • Oaktree Capital Management in its acquisition of Consolidated Chassis Management, a manager of marine chassis pools in the US, from an affiliate of the Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association
  • Castleton Commodities International in:
    • Its US$215 million sale of NextGen Power Holdings, a landfill gas company, to Archaea Energy
    • Its acquisition of the New Salem Harbor combined cycle power plant in Salem, Massachusetts from a lender group
  • Partners Group in its acquisition of Dimension Renewable Energy, a solar development company
  • One Equity Partners in its acquisition of the Norit purification solutions business from Cabot Corporation
