Robert Lowe is an associate in the Finance Department of Latham & Watkins' London office.

Mr. Lowe advises financial institutions, sponsors, and corporate borrowers across a broad range of banking and finance transactions, with a particular focus on cross-border leveraged acquisition finance.

Mr. Lowe's recent experience includes advising:

  • The arrangers of the acquisition debt financing for CVC-owned Stark Group’s acquisition of building supplies merchant Jewson
  • Ares Management on the financing for its acquisition of global sustainability consultancy SLR Consulting
  • TA Associates on the financing for its acquisition of Spanish technology company EsPublico
  • The sponsor shareholders of a speciality automotive glazing manufacturer in respect of a bespoke second lien financing to expand the business
  • The super senior lenders in connection with Black Diamond’s high-yield bond issue to acquire Polynt Group, and its subsequent refinancing
  • TA Associates on the financing for its acquisitions of technology companies Enscape, Chaos, and Cylindo
  • The syndicate of lenders on EQT’s refinancing of software developer IFS and subsequent bolt-on acquisitions
  • First Sentier Investors on the financing for its acquisition of waste-to-energy company Wheelabrator UK
  • The lenders on the financial restructuring and refinancing of retailer Matalan
  • Entain on the refinancing of its existing €1.125 billion and US$786 million facilities
  • The arrangers of the acquisition debt financing for Advent, Cinven, and RAG’s €17.2 billion acquisition of thyssenkrupp’s elevator business
  • The exit ABL provider in connection with the restructuring of US logistics company Syncreon through English schemes of arrangement

  • The arrangers of the financing for the acquisition of certain parts of chemical company Linde’s and Praxair’s gas businesses
