Robert Lowe is an associate in the Finance Department of Latham & Watkins' London office.

Mr. Lowe's experience includes advising financial institutions, sponsors, and corporate borrowers across a broad range of banking and finance transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition financings.

  • First Sentier Investors on the financing for its acquisition of waste to energy company Wheelabrator UK
  • The lenders on the financial restructuring and refinancing of retailer Matalan
  • Entain on the refinancing of its existing €1.125 billion and US$786 million facilities
  • The arrangers of the acquisition debt financing for Advent, Cinven, and RAG’s €17.2 billion acquisition of thyssenkrupp’s elevator business
  • The exit ABL provider in connection with a new ABL facility to Michigan-based supply chain and logistics company Syncreon as part of the restructuring of the Syncreon group through English schemes of arrangement
  • The senior creditors committee in relation to the rescue financing and subsequent c. €2.9 billion debt and equity restructuring of global aviation services business Swissport
  • Citigroup in relation to the refinancing of existing facilities for e-commerce and brand owner The Hut Group
  • Thomas Cook Group PLC on the refinancing of its existing debt with a multi-currency revolving credit facility and bonding facilities
  • The revolving lenders on the financing for UK based cinema chain Odeon Cinemas
  • The arrangers on the financing for the acquisition of certain parts of chemical company Linde’s and Praxair’s gas businesses
  • NYX Gaming Group on the financing for its acquisition of Openbet Limited*
  • The arrangers on the refinancing of existing facilities provided to agricultural produce supplier, Westfalia International*
  • The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on its financing of producer United Sugar Company of Egypt*
  • NYX Gaming Group in relation to unitranche and super senior revolving credit facilities provided by Ares Management (in conjunction with preferred equity participation by William Hill and Skybet) for the purpose of acquiring gambling software specialist Openbet Limited, and the subsequent global refinancing of the facilities*
  • HSBC, the International Finance Corporation, and others in refinancing the existing facilities provided to Westfalia International, a multinational agricultural produce supplier, for the purpose of investing in Agricom a Chilean based produce exporter*
  • The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in relation to an equity investment into United Sugar Company of Egypt, a subsidiary of one of the largest food groups in the Middle East and North Africa region*
