Robert Havas is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Robert focuses on copyright law and artificial intelligence. He counsels clients in sophisticated intellectual property disputes involving generative AI, emerging technologies, and creative industries. He has experience with sensitive, high-stakes disputes at the forefront of copyright law.

Robert received his JD from Vanderbilt Law School, where he was selected for the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he was a student practitioner at the Housing Law Clinic and served as an editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review.
