Riley is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Riley represents national financial institutions, private equity firms, developers and public utilities in complex financing and development transactions within the renewable energy sector.

He advises clients on a variety of transactions, including tax equity and debt project financings, mergers and acquisitions, and project development contracts, with a primary focus on solar and storage projects.

Riley maintains an active pro bono practice, representing children and families in immigration cases involving Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) applications.

Riley served as a judicial intern for the US Court of International Trade during law school. Before attending law school, Riley lived in Honduras, where he volunteered with the organization Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos.
