Richard Offord advises clients on large-scale commercial contractual arrangements as well as the intellectual property and technology dimensions of complex, cross-border corporate transactions.

Richard draws on broad technical experience to guide companies, private equity sponsors, and other investors through a range of sophisticated transactions, including:

He regularly advises on high value M&A and private equity transactions, helping deal teams navigate issues relating to commercial contracts, IP rights, and technology. He works closely with clients across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on the financial services, energy and infrastructure, and sports markets.

Before joining Latham, Richard practiced at a leading UK law firm, where he helped lead the sports sector group and regularly advised on the contractual arrangements underpinning major long-term investments.
