Renatta Gorski advises a wide range of clients in class, derivative, shareholder, and individual litigation involving breaches of fiduciary duty, securities fraud, and other related issues.

Renatta primarily represents public and private companies in securities class actions and stockholder derivative actions, as well as in complex commercial litigation, including breach of contract disputes.

Renatta maintains an active pro bono practice, representing students with disabilities and victims of domestic violence. She is also a former member of the firm’s Recruiting Committee.

During her time in law school, Renatta spent a semester working as an intern at the Commodities Futures Trading Commission in New York City.

Renatta’s experience includes:

  • Successfully defending Baxter International in Illinois trial court and again in appellate court against breach of fiduciary duty claims
  • Successfully defeating securities fraud claims against Walmart relating to the company’s statements about controlled substances
