Reina Kern is a corporate associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Reina represents public and private companies, private equity firms, and strategic investors in a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, and professional sports franchise investments, acquisitions, and sales.
While attending the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, Reina served as the public relations and press chair of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. She also served as a teaching assistant for Contracts and a peer advisor for first-year students.
Prior to law school, she earned a BA in Communications from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania (Honors, Thesis Distinction), with a minor in Classical Studies. She was also a member of the NCAA Division I varsity women’s field hockey and rowing teams.
Following college, Reina worked as an Olympics Researcher with NBC Sports, traveling to international competitions and preparing the sports group for the upcoming Olympic Games. She also served as a press officer for the US canoe/kayak team at the Tokyo Olympic Games and worked as a high school English teacher and field hockey and swimming coach at her alma mater, the Hun School of Princeton.
