Reece Lazarus is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. 

Reece received his JD from the UCLA School of Law. While in law school, he served as Chief Submissions Editor for the Entertainment Law Review and Co-President of the Entertainment Law Association. He was also an Advanced Clinician in the UCLA Documentary Film Clinic. 

Prior to law school, Reece received his BA from Ithaca College. He also worked as a professional musician, venue manager and promoter, and radio music director.

Reece's experience includes advising technology companies, media companies, buyers and sellers of music and entertainment-related assets, and other sophisticated enterprises on all aspects of:

  • Licensing transactions with record companies, music publishers, performing rights organizations, and other copyright owners
  • Music, entertainment and copyright aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and financing transactions
  • Complex commercial intellectual property licenses and related agreements
  • Talent and personal service agreements in the music, entertainment, and digital media industries
