Raven Earnest is an antitrust associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Raven represents companies and individuals in civil and criminal antitrust investigations, merger reviews, and antitrust litigation. She also provides day-to-day counseling on competition issues, compliance, and pre-merger notification across industries, including financial services, technology, and consumer markets.
Raven draws on experience with the US Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division and the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement, and currently serves on the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section.
Raven maintains an active pro bono practice, including serving as a guardian ad litem and representing clients in family law matters with various pro bono organizations, such as Volunteer Legal Advocates and Kids in Need of Defense .
She also serves on the board of a debate organization that promotes free speech and teaches oratory skills to college students.
During law school, Raven served as a research assistant and teaching assistant focusing on antitrust and contracts. Raven also volunteered with UC Law SF’s Homeless Advocacy Project and Georgetown’s Health Justice Alliance Clinic.
Before law school, Raven spent two years supporting the general counsel of a mutual funds company.
