Phenia Hovsepyan is an associate in the Century City office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department.
Phenia represents market-leading companies and business leaders in securities litigations and other complex commercial litigation matters. She advises financial institutions, large publicly traded companies, and their senior directors and officers in securities class action litigations, complex commercial litigations, professional liability disputes, and M&A litigations.
Phenia received her JD from Notre Dame Law School, where she was a managing senior editor of the Notre Dame Law Review and a teaching assistant for contract law and constitutional law. She was also a Dean’s Circle Fellow and the recipient of the Anne C. Hamilton Award, the William Kirby Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, the Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Program of Study in Business Law, and Faculty Awards for Excellence in Business Associations, Antitrust Law, and Global Antitrust Law.
Phenia served as a judicial intern for Judge Joseph A. Brandolino of the Los Angeles Superior Court and as law clerk at the Notre Dame Clinical Law Center Community Development Clinic. She is licensed to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Federal District Court for the Central District of California.
