Peter M. Labonski advises clients on corporate finance and general securities and corporate matters, both in the US and globally.
Mr. Labonski has substantial experience representing issuers and investment banks in public and private debt and equity offerings and lending transactions of all kinds in a broad range of industries, including chemicals, entertainment, financial services, gaming, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, energy, media and telecommunications, technology, and retail. He has also represented investment banks, companies, and investors in all manner of other engagements, including tender offer and consent solicitations, restructurings, bridge lending and loan commitments, the purchase and sale of restricted securities, Regulation S offerings, and other financial transactions.
Mr. Labonski previously served as Global Chair of the firm’s Strategic Client Committee, Local Department Chair of the firm’s Corporate Department in the New York office, and as the Administrative Partner for the firm’s New York office from 2001 to 2010. He is also on the board of directors of Lawyers Alliance of New York, where he has served as Chair since 2018.
Mr. Labonski serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Lawyers Alliance for New York, where he has served as Board Chair since 2018, and on the Finance Committee for the Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Mr. Labonski served on both the Association of the Bar of City of New York’s Corporation’s Committee and the Committee on Securities Regulation. He also studied Japanese.
