Paris Sanders is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.
Her practice focuses on complex litigation, appeals, and counseling, with a particular emphasis on copyright, artificial intelligence, media, and technology.
Paris has experience litigating cases in federal and state courts, including experience briefing and arguing discovery motions; briefing dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, and post-trial motions; expert witness preparation; supporting fact and expert depositions; and developing trial themes and narratives.
Paris also advises clients on intellectual property issues relating to artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.
Paris maintains an active pro bono practice, including intellectual property counseling for artists and nonprofit organizations, as well as U Visa applications, VAWA petitions, and other immigration matters.
Paris earned her JD from UCLA School of Law with a specialization in Media, Entertainment, and Technology Law and Policy. While in law school, she published an article relating to copyright law in the UCLA Entertainment Law Review, served as the chief submissions editor for the UCLA Journal of Gender and Law, and was an advanced clinician in the UCLA Documentary Film Legal Clinic.
Prior to joining Latham, Paris was an intellectual property litigation associate at another international law firm.
