Oscar Lopez is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Capital Markets Practice.

Mr. Lopez primarily advises on international capital markets transactions. Mr. Lopez has experience representing private equity firms, investment banks and public and private corporate clients in public and private debt and equity transactions, including SEC-registered offerings, acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, private placements and liability management transactions across a broad range of industries. 

Mr. Lopez maintains an active pro bono practice representing asylum seekers and serves on the Multicultural Promotion & Attainment Coalition (MPAC).

While in law school, Mr. Lopez served as managing and online editor for the Cornell International Law Journal and as managing editor for the Cornell Legal Information Institute.
