Oscar Ko is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

Mr. Ko advises clients on a broad range of domestic and cross-border matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Ko spent time on secondment to Société Générale.

Mr. Ko’s experience includes advising: 

  • Kneip Management on its sale of Kneip Communication S.A., a leading European fund data specialist, to the Deutsche Börse Group*
  • British International Investment on its joint venture with the Gul Ahmed Metro Group to develop and operate up to 500 megawatts of renewable energy assets in Pakistan*
  • A German independent power producer on a linked sale of its interest in three Egyptian solar power plants to a renewable energy company in the Middle East*
  • A Pan-African financial institution on its proposed joint venture with a Norwegian engineering company to invest in oil and gas assets in Ghana*
  • An English fintech start-up company on its capital restructure and seed fundraising round*
  • Resource Capital Fund on its investment in Brazilian Nickel PLC, an English nickel and cobalt mining company with operations in Brazil*
  • Althelia Sustainable Ocean Fund on its investment in the Biomega Group, a Norwegian biosciences company*
