Olivia Featherstone is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's Litigation & Trial Department. She maintains a broad disputes practice spanning complex commercial litigation and contentious regulatory matters, often with a significant cross border dimension and a particular emphasis on the financial services sector. Olivia advises banks, participants in the financial services sector, and corporates on high stakes disputes and regulatory investigations.

In 2024 to 2025, Olivia undertook a six-month secondment in the litigation and regulatory team at a leading investment bank. She gained firsthand industry knowledge which she uses to effectively advise clients handling complex and multijurisdictional legal and/or regulatory issues. 

Olivia is a member of Latham & Watkins’ pro bono committee.

Olivia's experience includes advising:

  • Samba Financial Group in relation to an approximately US$450 million claim brought in the English High Court by liquidators of a Cayman Islands company arising from the Al-Sanea/Al-Gosaibi dispute
  • A leading investment bank in relation to claims in the High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal involving allegations of collusion in the foreign exchange market
  • One of the world’s largest financial exchanges defending a series of breach of warranty claims by the purchaser of a voice broking business
  • A security agent defending a multimillion-pound High Court claim for rectification of security documentation in the context of notes issuances worth in excess of £500 million
