Nootan Vegad is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Ms. Vegad advises clients on a range of antitrust and competition matters, including high-profile merger control cases, general antitrust advisory work, and competition law compliance.

Prior to qualification, she trained in the firm's London and Hong Kong offices.

Ms. Vegad’s recent experience includes advising:

  • Meta in its acquisition of GIPHY and related UK litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal
  • Farfetch in the expansion of its luxury new retail partnership, alongside Alabbar, with an agreement for Farfetch to acquire a 47.5% stake in YOOX Net-a-Porter (YNAP) and for Richemont and YNAP to each adopt Farfetch Platform Solutions
  • Microsoft in its US$19.7 billion acquisition of Nuance Communications
  • A variety of clients on competition law compliance, including development of compliance policies, procedures, and training
  • An entertainment company on a joint venture project
  • Various private equity companies on their portfolio of acquisitions and global merger filings
