Nikita Kansra represents clients in high-stakes litigation at all levels of the judiciary in courts across the country. Nikita has drafted dispositive motions and guided clients in a range of substantive areas, including class actions, constitutional law, contract, insurance, securities, and tax disputes. She has also worked on certiorari and merits briefing at the Supreme Court and state supreme courts. Nikita maintains a robust pro bono practice, representing indigent clients at the trial and appellate level in cases implicating immigration law, constitutional law, and civil rights.
Before joining Latham, Nikita served as a law clerk for Judge Paul A. Engelmayer of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and Chief Judge Debra Ann Livingston of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Nikita graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she served as an executive editor of the Harvard Law Review.
