Nicholas Yeung is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Structured Finance Practice.

Nicholas advises international financial institutions, banks, and corporations on collateralized loan obligation (CLO) transactions, CLO warehouses, private structured finance, securitization, fund financings, secured and unsecured corporate finance, real estate finance, and bond issuance transactions across a variety of asset classes.

Prior to joining Latham, Nicholas worked at the financial regulator in Hong Kong, where he focused on developing the tokenization and digital asset ecosystem in the region. He previously trained and qualified in the structured finance practice of a Magic Circle law firm.

Nicholas’ transaction experience includes:

  • CarNext, a used-cars digital platform, on its €400 million financing to carve itself out from its parent company*
  • Anglian Water on its £300 million debt issuance of sustainability-linked bonds and the implementation of its multi-source investment grade debt financing platform*
  • A leading alternative investment manager on its mezzanine loan facility for the refinancing of a European logistics real estate portfolio*
  • The HKSAR Government on the world’s first multi-currency digital bond issuance*
