Nate Guerra

Nate Guerra is an associate in the Houston office of Latham & Watkins.

Nate advises a broad range of clients, including private equity backed companies and other energy-focused companies, with a particular focus on upstream and midstream energy transactions. His practice also includes matters relating to carbon capture, utilization, and storage.

He advises clients on a variety of agreements, including:

• Purchase and sale agreements
• Joint venture agreements
• Gathering and transportation agreements
• Lease agreements
• Pore space and surface use agreements

While in law school, Nate served as the editor-in-chief of the Texas Journal of Oil Gas and Energy Law (TJOGEL). Following law school, he has served as the president of the Texas Energy Law Association (TELA).
