Monica Hernandez is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
While attending law school at New York University, Ms. Hernandez received the Thurgood Marshall Scholarship and served as the notes editor for the New York University Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. During her third year at NYU, she was a founding member and student attorney of the International Transactions Clinic. During law school, Ms. Hernandez served as a summer intern for Judge Barbara Lynn of the US District Court, Northern District of Texas.
Prior to law school, Ms. Hernandez earned her MA at Georgetown University while working as a defense research and communications intern for a boutique consulting firm in Washington, D.C.
