Mitch Levy is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy Litigation & Creditors’ Rights practices.
Mitch represents clients in litigation in bankruptcy, state, and federal courts across the country. He has significant experience litigating claims in chapter 11 reorganizations, fraudulent transfer and fiduciary claims, and disputes involving liability-management and other financing transactions.
Prior to joining Latham, Mitch was a restructuring and finance litigation associate at another leading New York law firm. He previously clerked for Judge A. Raymond Randolph of the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
Mitch received his JD from the University of Chicago Law School, where he received high honors and was a member of the Order of the Coif, and was the recipient of the Karl Llewellyn Award and the Herbert L. Caplan Prize. While in law school, Mitch was an articles editor for the University of Chicago Law Review and was named a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar.
