Tyler Brown is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office and works exclusively on matters involving electric generation, transmission and distribution, energy storage, and natural gas and oil transportation for the Energy Regulatory & Markets Practice and the Project Development & Finance Practice.
Mr. Brown has assisted clients by analyzing issues under the Federal Power Act, Natural Gas Act, Natural Gas Policy Act, Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act, Public Utility Holding Company Act, Interstate Commerce Act, and various state energy industry restructuring statutes affecting the domestic energy industry.
He has represented clients regarding:
- Administrative litigation with respect to electric energy markets in the United States before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
- Financings, acquisitions, sales, and other transactions with respect to electric generation, transmission and storage facilities and oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas pipelines
- Federal energy regulatory compliance with respect to electric generation and transmission facilities, oil pipelines, and natural gas pipelines
