Michael Hammond is an associate in the Dubai office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department. Mr. Hammond has experience advising clients across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters. 

Mr. Hammond trained in the firm’s London office working across different practice areas, including leveraged finance and mergers and acquisitions, and also spent time on secondment at The Carlyle Group. 

Mr. Hammond’s experience includes advising:

  • CVC Capital Partners and Theramex, a leading global specialty pharmaceuticals company, on the sale of Theramex to global investment firms PAI Partners and Carlyle
  • Tamara, a leading fintech platform, on a US$340 million Series C equity funding round
  • Dubai Holding on the acquisition of The Westin Paris – Vendôme hotel located in central Paris 
  • A UAE-based digital software company on its acquisition of a Malta-based financial technology software provider
