Mary Adeyemi is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.
Mary maintains an active pro bono practice, including recently serving as guardian ad litem in a child custody case.
Before joining the firm, Mary was an associate scientist at GlaxoSmithKline.
While in law school, Mary was a student attorney in the Rising for Justice Clinic, where she represented low-income residents in unlawful eviction, housing conditions, lease violations, and non-payment of rent cases. In her third year, Mary served as a student teacher, teaching high school students about the law and their fundamental rights under the Constitution.
Mary earned her JD from Georgetown University Law Center (GULC) and received her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience from Temple University in Philadelphia.
