Marvin D. Clark is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Litigation & Trial Department.
Marvin represents clients in antitrust litigation, including matters involving government enforcement actions and disputes with competitors, as well as antitrust merger reviews before regulatory agencies. He also advises on securities matters involving government scrutiny and defends clients in shareholder litigation.
Marvin has worked for clients across a range of industries, including sports, technology, retail, healthcare, real estate, and finance. He also maintains an active pro bono practice representing individuals seeking asylum.
Marvin received his JD from Georgetown University Law Center, where he graduated cum laude, and earned his BA in Political Science and African American Studies from Columbia University.
During law school, Marvin was a Business Law Scholar, served as Co-Tournament Director for Georgetown’s Trial Advocacy Division, and won the South Texas College of Law Mock Trial Tournament. In his last semester, he worked as a student attorney in the Rising for Justice housing advocacy clinic, where he filed motions in D.C. Superior Court and represented clients at multiple hearings and a bench trial.
Marvin has interned with Judge John P. Howard III of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and with the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division in the Office of Competition and Policy.
