Marta Talarek advises clients on complex issues of corporate and securities law, including cross-border securities transactions and regulatory review.

She combines extensive experience and market knowledge to guide financial institutions and major corporations in representing issuers and dealers in connection with both registered and private offerings through medium-term note programs, structured notes programs as well as commercial paper programs.

In addition, Marta advises global financial institutions in connection with their capital raising activities providing FINRA Corporate Finance analysis.

Marta oversees a knowledge management platform for the Capital Markets team to identify and help develop technological efficiencies for effective database use, in collaboration with the firm’s Information Technology Group.

She also maintains an active pro bono practice, including clemency applications in partnership with the Legal Aid Society, an asylum application in partnership with Human Rights First, and spearheading a complex human rights research project.

Before joining Latham, she focused on securitization programs in the structured finance group at another global law firm.
