OGC Associate General Counsel - Investigations and Litigation

Marissa Perry advises the firm on litigation and investigations. Before joining the Office of the General Counsel, Marissa was a litigation associate in the firm’s Chicago office. She counseled public companies, boards of directors, and officers in high-stakes securities class actions and other complex commercial lawsuits in federal and state court. She also defensed clients in connection with investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission and US Department of Justice.   

Prior to joining Latham, Marissa was an associate at an international law firm and clerked for Judge Diana E. Murphy of the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. While in law school, Marissa was a contributing editor to the Michigan Law Review. Between undergrad and law school, she conducted research on post-World War II trials as a Fulbright Scholar in Germany.
