Margaret Rote is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice.

Ms. Rote primarily handles healthcare regulatory and Food & Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory matters involving healthcare providers and life sciences companies. In particular, she advises clients on healthcare regulatory, compliance, and business considerations in the context of healthcare transactions. She also represents healthcare providers in connection with investigations regarding healthcare laws.

Ms. Rote earned her JD from the University of Texas School of Law, graduating with honors. She was a staff editor of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal, a member of the Texas Business Law Society, and a member of the Women’s Law Caucus. Ms. Rote was also awarded a certificate for her participation in the Pro Bono Program. During law school, Margaret spent a summer at Children’s Health in Dallas, Texas, working in the Legal Department of the hospital.
