Maia McFarlin is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.

Maia advises clients on white collar investigations across a variety of highly regulated industries. Maia maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in custody and domestic violence proceedings.

While in law school, Maia served as a senior notes and comments editor of the Howard Law Journal, worked as a research assistant, and was a student attorney in the Child Welfare and Family Justice Clinic. She received her bachelor’s degree from Prairie View A&M University, where she was a Regents Merit Scholar and a 2022 TEDx speaker.

Prior to joining Latham, Maia worked as a summer associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
