Madina Salavdiyeva is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice. Ms Salavdiyeva advises clients on a full spectrum of corporate transactions.

Ms Salavdiyeva trained in Latham’s London office, gaining a broad range of experience in M&A, venture capital, private equity, equity capital markets, restructuring and special situations, and structured finance transactions. She also spent time with the Litigation & Trial Department, assisting on a range of international arbitration and public international law cases.

Ms Salavdiyeva is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion at the firm as a local head of Multicultural Promotion & Attainment Coalition (MPAC) and a committee member of the Women Lawyers Group (WLG). She maintains an active pro bono practice representing charities and vulnerable individuals.

Ms Salavdiyeva’s recent experience includes advising:

  • FACEIT on the proposed acquisition by Savvy Gaming Group of FACEIT and ESL Gaming in an all-cash transaction valuing the combined group at an enterprise value of US$1.5 billion
  • ArchiMed Group on the sale of Bomi Italia, an Italy-based healthcare logistics company, to UPS, the world’s largest courier and logistics group
  • The ad hoc group of senior lenders to Vue Cinemas in relation to its ongoing c. €1 billion debt and equity restructuring
  • Octopus Investments on its seed round financing in Merge Money, a fintech startup for crypto exchanges
  • KKR on its exclusive multi-year agreement for up to €40 billion of eligible current and future Buy-Now Pay Later (BNPL) loans originated by PayPal in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom
  • Republic of Croatia in an investment treaty claim relating to the potential development of several golf courses, hotels, villas, and other luxury facilities overlooking the World Heritage Site of the Old City of Dubrovnik 
  • A state-owned gas and petroleum company in ICC arbitration and ancillary court proceedings in relation to disputes over an offshore oil concession in South America 
  • The senior secured lenders to the Lifeways Group, the UK’s largest supported living provider, in respect of its holistic balance sheet restructuring and recapitalization
