Lucy has over 20 years’ experience advising financial institutions, private equity firms, funds, and companies on a broad range of transactions across multiple jurisdictions, including:

  • Commercial mortgage-backed securitzations (CMBS) — Lucy has extensive experience in the European CMBS market, having advised clients on a range of agency and conduit CMBS transactions in the UK and across Europe since 2005, covering multiple sectors, including logistics, retail, cold storage, hotels/leisure, multi-family, student housing, and office
  • CRE warehouse and back-leverage transactions
  • Infrastructure asset and corporate loan financings and securitizations
  • Debt portfolio acquisitions/disposals and loan origination platforms/forward flow arrangements — Lucy has advised on some of the highest-profile transactions in the market across multiple jurisdictions and involving private and public securitizations to fund the acquisition of loan pools and lending businesses

  • Private equity and bank clients on bids for performing and non-performing portfolios of loans in various jurisdictions, including Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Ireland, and the UK and financing of those portfolios via public and private securitizations, including advising buyers on Project Fino (sale of Italian loans by Unicredit), UKAR sales (UK consumer mortgages pools), Project Porto (sale of Irish consumer mortgage loans), Project Flamenco (sale of Spanish consumer loans), Project Tampa (sale of French consumer loans), and Project Cashmere (sale of Australian consumer loans)*
  • Bank clients on single- and multi-loan European CMBS transactions across a range of countries and sectors — Lucy has advised on many recent Blackstone CMBS, including advising on Caister Finance (Haven holiday parks), UK Logistics 2025-1 (UK logistics), and Hera Financing (UK office)*
  • Clients on CRE back-leverage transactions across Europe, including the exit financing of those transactions via securitization in the capital markets*
  • Clients on forward flow transactions — including advising on multiple UK mortgage forward-flow arrangements and financings, Dutch mortgage forward-flow, UK auto loans, and Spanish point of sale contracts*
