Lucas Balchun is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office and a member of the Corporate Department.
Mr. Balchun represents private equity firms, investment banks, and public and private companies in a variety of financing and other transactions, including leveraged buyouts, cross-border transactions, and securities offerings in public and private markets. He advises on corporate finance, securities regulation, and general securities and corporate matters.
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Mr. Balchun worked as an intern in the Division of Corporation Finance of the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Balchun earned his JD and LLM in Securities & Financial Regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center.
