Lorenzo Sacco is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Lorenzo advises international clients on European and global competition matters, including merger control, abuse of dominance, and cartels. Lorenzo represents clients before the European Commission, the Italian Competition Authority, as well as before EU and Italian courts.

His practice covers a wide range of industries, including technology, automotive, pharmaceutical, packaging, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining Latham, Lorenzo completed his traineeship and worked as an associate at an international law firm in Milan.

  • Bain Capital on obtaining merger control clearances for its acquisition of Fabbrica Italiana Sintetici, a manufacturer of active ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry
  • The Carlyle Group on the global merger control aspects of various transactions in the fashion, food ingredients, and industrial automation sectors
