Lisa Duong advises financial institutions, private credit funds, and other alternative capital providers on commercial real estate finance transactions across the UK and Europe.

Her experience spans a broad range of asset classes, including data centers, logistics, industrial and office spaces, student accommodation, hotels, and hostels. Lisa acts on both single-asset and portfolio transactions, as well as loans securitized through commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) structures. She also has experience advising on back-leverage transactions, including loan-on-loan financings and repurchase arrangements. 

Prior to joining Latham, Lisa was a senior associate at another leading international law firm. She has also completed a secondment at a global investment bank.

  • A private capital provider in connection with the financing of a light industrial and logistics portfolio located in Sweden*
  • A private capital provider in connection with the financing of a German designer outlet village* 
  • A syndicate of various financial institutions in connection with the financing of various portfolios of student housing assets* 
  • A financial institution in connection with the financing of the acquisition of a portfolio of multi-let industrial properties located in the UK* 
  • A private capital provider in connection with the financing of the AO Hostels pan-European hostels portfolio* 
  • Echelon Data Centres in connection with the financing of its European data center platform*
  • An investment bank, as lender to Brookfield, in connection with the acquisition of mixed-use portfolios located in Finland and Sweden*
  • The lender in connection with the refinancing and related CMBS securitization of two Blackstone UK logistics portfolios*
  • The lender in connection with the refinancing and related CMBS securitization of three Blackstone UK logistics portfolios*
