Lia received her JD from Harvard Law School, graduating cum laude. She also has a master’s in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, which she attended on a full merit scholarship. While in law school, Lia was editor-in-chief of the Harvard Environmental Law Review and taught environmental law to undergraduates as a faculty member at Boston College. Before law school, she was a policy analyst at the US Department of Transportation.
