Lerato Cummings is a corporate associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins.
Lerato represents private equity firms and public and private companies in mergers, acquisitions, capital markets, and other corporate transactions.
Lerato maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on victims of domestic violence and related family law matters.
While in law school, Lerato participated in Howard University’s Civil Rights Clinic as a student attorney and participated in drafting an amicus brief filed with the US Supreme Court. She was also a Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the Howard Law Journal.
