Leia Gu is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins, a member of the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice, and a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.

Ms. Gu advises clients on a wide range of complex healthcare regulatory matters across a number of industries, including healthcare providers, life sciences companies and health technology companies.  Ms. Gu’s practice spans regulatory, transactional and white collar matters, including:

  • Federal and state fraud and abuse matters, including compliance with the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act and federal program exclusion authorities
  • Mergers and acquisitions, capital markets offerings and strategic transactions
  • Compliance program development and implementation and compliance with Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) obligations
  • Enforcement matters, including internal investigations and voluntary disclosures

She maintains an active pro bono practice representing clients in domestic violence and immigration matters.
