  • A major global bank in lawsuit against hedge fund seeking more than US$1 billion for fraudulent inducement, breach of contract, and fraudulent conveyance claims relating to deal involving collateralized loan obligations. Client ultimately won*
  • A top global technology company in putative consumer class action based on temporary unavailability of software feature on smartphone devices*
  • A top social media company against Telephone Consumer Protection Act claims in multiple putative class actions. One case reached US Supreme Court and resulted in clarifying the definition of a key statutory term in a manner favorable to companies*
  • A key member of monitorship team for major utility company, including oversight and evaluation of company’s compliance and ethics, safety initiatives (including process safety, cost-saving initiatives, and unexpected operational challenges), and technical regulatory requirements*
  • A Fortune 500 energy company on multiple issues related to various contracts*
  • A software company against multiple consumer class actions filed in various federal courts, asserting violations of consumer fraud statutes, breach of contract, and negligence. Secured very early, and favorable, global settlement for the client*
  • A telecommunications client against deceptive trade practices and false advertising claims in a putative class action in state court. Drafted motion to dismiss all claims, which was granted with prejudice*
