Kristen Vredeveld is an associate in the Corporate Department in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Capital Markets Practice.

Kristen advises clients on a variety of corporate transactions in connection with debt and equity offerings.

Prior to joining the firm, Kristen completed her legal studies at Boston University Law School, where she graduated cum laude and served as a member of the editorial board on the Boston University International Law Journal. 

Kristen maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals seeking asylum in partnership with Sanctuary for Families and Immigration Equality.

She is a member of the Women’s Lawyers Group and the LGBTQ+ Lawyers Group, as well as the recruiting committee.

  • EQT AB (publ), the third largest public equity firm worldwide, on their issuance of $500 million Senior Notes due 2035
  • The Initial Purchasers in connection with SoftBank Group Corp., an investment holding company, on its US$1.86 billion (equivalent) notes issuance
  • The Initial Purchasers in connection with Virgin Media O2’s issuance of separate bonds totaling €600 million and US$750 million, respectively
  • The Underwriters on the full divestment by the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund of its stake in Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A. through a fully marketed offering, raising gross proceeds of approximately €1.35 billion
  • The Initial Purchasers in connection with Kier Group plc’s first-time issuance of £250,000,000 in Reg S notes
  • A global leader in insulation and building envelope solutions on their private placement of €319 million guaranteed senior notes due 2029
  • The purchasers in connection with the private placement of €750 million notes due 2028, by TIM S.p.A.
