Komal Shemar is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Data & Technology Transactions Practice.
Komal represents and advises clients across a range of sectors, including private equity, technology, fintech, and social media, in connection with:
- Data privacy
- Technology regulation, including regulation of artificial intelligence, online platforms, and data sharing
- Commercial contracts
- Intellectual property licensing
- Diligence of private equity and venture capital transactions, and public listings
Komal trained in the firm’s London office, also gaining experience in fintech (particularly crypto-assets), private equity transactions, and leveraged finance. Prior to joining Latham, Komal spent time in private practice and in-house at a SaaS technology company in Paris.
