Jason Wong is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Structured Finance & Securitization practice.

Mr. Wong advises clients on securitization, receivables financing, asset-backed lending, and other structured finance transactions across a variety of asset classes.

Prior to joining Latham, Mr. Wong trained at a Magic Circle law firm in London.

Mr. Wong’s recent experience includes advising:

  • A multinational commodity trading company in connection with the establishment of a US$465 million global inventory securitization programme
  • A debt collecting firm on its bolt-on acquisition of a financial services company, including its entire unsecured non-performing loan portfolio
  • A multinational investment bank as the arranger and original lender in connection with two multicurrency revolving fund financing facilities totaling €153 million
  • A multinational investment bank as the arranger and original lender in the £75 million refinancing of a luxury hotel borrower
  • A FinTech company in connection with the establishment of a US$100 million asset trust program for the funding of trade receivables that are ineligible for its primary securitization platform 
  • A global alternative credit investment manager in connection with the establishment of a novel warehouse facility secured over loans originated by a US-based Fintech lender
  • The arranger and original lender in connection with a warehouse facility secured over retirement interest-only mortgages originated by a start-up Fintech mortgage lender*
